How Tank Bags fit to Your Horse Saddle

Our horse saddle bags are the solution for short or long rides.
Comprising 6 bags in total, the 4 side bags are used when traveling distances or when heading to a remote location.
Top bags for everyday use. Side bags for travel and side quests.
Individually fitted
- 1 top pommel bag
- 2 side pommel bags
- 1 top cantle bag
- 2 side cantle bags
The two top bags (currently in R&D test mode) can stay on the saddle year round to carry your essentials for any kind of ride. There will be provisions to loop a poncho, jacket, or wool blanket over the top of either front or rear bag.
The side bags are individually fitted to each side, beneath the pommel and the cantle.

We will be making custom versions with an integrated top so both sides can be installed at the same time.
Currently, the bags can be affixed with thin high strength rope, bit snaps, or webbing loops.

The webbing loops can also attach across the cantle and pommel to the other side, for a more secure fit.
The top bags, intended to be on the saddle 24/7, are attached the same way but to the rear of the cantle and the front of the pommel.
Items to go in the top bags can include
- Hoof pick
- Emergency kit
- Water purifier
- Water bottles
- Cell phone
- Extra rope
- Hoof boots
- Poncho
- Wool blanket
Items to go inside the side bags can include
- Clothing
- Tent
- Hammock
- Feed
- Tablet or small laptop
- Water
- Supplements
- Food

Why we make our side bags individually mounted – our stock side bags go on each side independently.
The reasons for this are:
- The side bags can be removed and used as personal errand bag, carried like a purse or sling bag.
- The side bags can be removed without taking off the top bags.
- One side of the side bags can be taken off, leaving the other side on. This would be useful if carrying a chainsaw on one side of the saddle, the other side could carry gas oil and tools.
